EfficiencyMaine, a training program of the Maine Public Utilities Commission, provides small businesses with information about energy-efficient electric products, cash incentives for specific electrical equipment and training on energy improvements. 1-866-376-2463. It also sponsors a “Carbon Free Homes” website that enables year-round and seasonal residents to calculate their home’s carbon footprint and take immediate actions to reduce energy use, sign up for renewable energy certificates and purchase clean electricity.
